One veteran’s story

“After the last downsizing, it was time to rethink my strategy. Thanks to the federal grant, veterans like me can now have a second chance at a lucrative and stable career.” – David Dahrsnin, Monroe Community College
David is a military veteran who holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees. He enrolled at Monroe Community College in the fall of 2011 to pursue a certificate in precision machining after he was laid off from management positions five times in the previous 11 years. Now David’s happy to have another opportunity at a fulfilling career.
