It’s time to change the way you think about manufacturing.

The days of huge, dirty factories are behind us. Modern manufacturing is innovative, skillful, and future-focused.

In addition to being on the move, advanced manufacturing industries are also in dire need of more skilled workers, from the welding shop floor to optical research. According to a New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL) survey of 422 manufacturing firms, “84 percent report that non-entry level openings are difficult to fill due to the lack of advanced academic and technical skills.” Many of those respondents come from industry sectors that SUNY TEAM has training programs for, including those listed below.
