  • JobZone – JobZone is a New York State Department of Labor job board which offers a wealth of resources to job seekers, all sortable by zip code. Research available jobs in your local area, as well as upcoming career fairs. Job seekers can create a free account and sign up to be alerted when jobs in certain industries are listed, learn the basics of resume writing, and take advantage of a wealth of additional job search resources.

  • NYS Department of Labor – The New York State Department of Labor website is an excellent resource for starting a job search, as well as learning more information and viewing data about jobs available in your area. Information about the Division of Employment and Workforce Solutions can also be found on the site, including details about apprenticeship, career services, and veterans’ services sanctioned by the DOL.
